The showpparprogress command lets you check the power-on status of the
physical partitions. For details, see the Fujitsu SPARC M12 and Fujitsu
M10/SPARC M10 XSCF Reference Manual of the XSCF firmware version used.

Check the operation status of all the physical partitions.
From the XSCF shell, execute the showpparstatus command to
check the status
of the physical partitions.
This example checks that PPAR-ID#00 and PPAR-ID#01 are running.
10.9.2 Starting the System From the OPNL
This procedure assumes that you start the system in a server room or other
environment where you can directly check the LEDs of the SPARC M12-2/M12-2S.
For information on the LEDs you check here, see "2.4 Understanding the LED
Indications."
1.
Check the LEDs on the OPNL.
See the OPNL to check
that its POWER LED is off and that its XSCF STANDBY
LED is on.
2.
Check the mode switch on the OPNL.
Check that the mode switch on the OPNL is set to Locked. In a building block
configuration connecting multiple SPARC M12-2S units, set the mode switch to
Locked on the
SPARC M12-2S units that house the master XSCF and the standby
XSCF, respectively.
3.
Press the POWER switch on the OPNL to start the system.
Press the POWER switch on the SPARC M12-2/M12-2S that houses the master
XSCF. The command to start the system is issued when you hold down the
POWER
switch for more than 1 second and less than 4 seconds.
