9.3 Rules for Populating DIMM Slots
Table 31 shows the supported DIMM population of the 2 ranks supported by the
EP80579. Configurations not shown in Table 31 are not supported. The rank
configurations supported are one or two ranks on a single DIMM or one rank on each of
the two DIMMs. Two ranks in each of the two DIMMs (that is, four ranks) is not
supported.

and dual DIMM.
