2.2 Development Board
The Development Board is designed as a validation vehicle to test and verify the correct
functionality of the EP80579 silicon. It also serves as an example of a validated
implementation of the EP80579 silicon for external customers.
The Development Board provides interfaces to the extensive peripheral and
I/O capabilities (SATA, GbE, USB, PCI Express, etc.) included in the part.
Figure 1 shows a detailed block diagram of the Development Board and Table 4
provides a summary of its features.
