Syntax
advertise med location-identification {coordinate-based value | civic-based value | ecs-elin value}
To return to the default, use the no advertise med location-identification {coordinate-based value |
civic-based value | ecs-elin value} command.

ELIN — Emergency Location Identification Number, a valid North America Numbering Plan format
telephone number supplied for ECS purposes.

Advertise the Extended Power via MDI on all ports that are connected to an 802.3af powered,
LLDP-MED endpoint device.
coordinate-based value Enter the keyword coordinate-based followed by the coordinated based
location in hexadecimal value of 16 bytes.
civic-based value Enter the keyword civic-based followed by the civic based location in
hexadecimal format.
Range: 6 to 255 bytes
ecs-elin value
Enter the keyword ecs-elin followed by the Emergency Call Service (ecs)
Emergency Location Identification Number (
elin) numeric location string.
Range: 10 to 25 characters
