IPv6 multicast routing and forwarding
commands
The term "interface" in this chapter collectively refers to VLAN interfaces and Layer 3 Ethernet interfaces.
You can set an Ethernet port as a Layer 3 interface by using the port link-mode route command (see
Layer 2—LAN Switching Configuration Guide).
display ipv6 mrib interface
Use display ipv6 mrib interface to display information about interfaces maintained by the IPv6 MRIB,
including IPv6 PIM interfaces, MLD interfaces, register interfaces, InLoopBack0 interfaces, and null0
interfaces.
Syntax
display ipv6 mrib [ vpn-instance vpn-instance-name ] interface [ interface-type interface-number ]

Parameters
vpn-instance vpn-instance-name: Specifies an MPLS L3VPN instance by its name, a case-sensitive string
of 1 to 31 characters. If you do not specify a VPN instance, the command displays information about
interfaces maintained by the IPv6 MRIB on the public network.
interface-type interface-number: Specifies an interface by its type and number. If you do not specify an
interface, the command displays information about all interfaces maintained by the IPv6 MRIB.
