oscillation(e.g.:roll,pitchandyaw)providesmorestableCOGandSOG
values.
ThedatareportedbyyourGNSSreceiverprovidesaninstantaneous
measureofthereceiver’sspeedanddirection.Undercertainconditions,
thedatacanbecomeerratic.Forexample,aslowmovingsailingvesselin
roughseaswillhaveahighoscillation,andwillbenefitfroma[High]setting,
whereasapowerboatthatcanquicklychangespeedanddirectionwillhave
alowoscillationandwillbenefitfroma[Low]setting.
Theavailableoptionsare:

•Low
Note:
ThefilterdoesnotaffectyourGNSSreceiver’ sreportedposition.
InternalGPS
Ifapplicable ,youcanenableanddisabletheMFD’sinternalGNSSreceiver
usingthetoggleswitch.
DisableifyoudonotwanttousetheMFD’sinternalGNSSreceiverasa
sourceforpositioningdata.

area,locatedatthetoprightoftheHomescreen.Thestatusareaalso
includesthe[Time]receivedfromaninternalorexternalGNSSreceiver,and
identifieswhenanAxiom™ProMFDisin[T ouchlock]mode.
