26.2Camerasetup
BeforeusingtheA ugmentedRealityfeatures,it’simportanttocorrectlyinstall
andsetupyourcompatiblecamera.
Refertoyourcamera’sinstallationmanualtodeterminethecorrectphysical
installationandconnectionsforusingthecameraaspartofanAugmented
Realitysystem.
Anumberofadditionalcamera-relatedsettingsandcalibrationsmustbe
completedintheVideoappbeforeAugmentedRealityfeaturescanbeused:
•Cameraheightabovethewaterline.
•Cameradirection.
•Camerahorizontalfieldofview[notrequiredforcameraswhichauto
assigntheirfieldofview].
•Horizoncalibration.
Note:
•Thecamera
’sheightabovethewaterlineandcamera’sviewdirection
needtobephysicallymeasuredforaccuratecamerainstallation.
•Thecamera’shorizontalfieldofviewcanbefoundinyourcamera’s
installationmanualspecification.
Fix
edcameracalibration
FixedmountcamerasrequirecalibrationforAugmentedRealitytofunction
correctly.
1.Forfirsttimesetup,either:
i.Selectthe[EnterDetails]promptintheVideoapp.
ii.Selectthe[ClearCruise]tabintheVideoapp’sSettings,[Videoapp>
Settings>ClearCruise.]Therewillbeapromptto[EnterDetails]using
the[CameraInstallation]page.
2.Godirectlytothe[CameraInstallation]pageintheVideoapp([Settings>
CameraSetup>CameraInstallation]).
3.The[CameraInstallation]pagewillofferaseriesofcamerainstallation
optionswhichallneedtobecompletedcorrectly.
Note:
Incorrectphysicalcamerainstallationandincorrectsettingsprovidedin
thecamerasetuppagecouldresultinaninaccurateAugmentedReality
overlay.
•Toadjustthevaluesof[Cameraheightabovewaterline],[Camera
direction]and[Fieldofview],selectthevalueboxesofeachoptionand
adjustusingthearrows.
