TheFishdetectionfeaturecanbeaccessedfromthefishfinderappmenu:
[Menu>Settings>Fishdetection]
Fishdetectionoptionsinclude:
•[Fishdetectionbeep]—Anaudible2–tonebeepissoundedwhenasonar
targetisdetectedthatthefishdetectionalgorithmconsiderstobeafish.
•[Fishicons]—Afishiconisplacedonscreenoversonartargetsthatthe
fishdetectionalgorithmconsiderstobefish.
•[Fishdepthlabels]—Thedepthsofsonartargetsaredisplayedne
xttothe
targetthatthefishdetectionalgorithmconsiderstobefish.
Thefishdetectionfeaturecanbeadjustedmanuallyasfollows:
•[Detectionsensitivity]—Thedetectionsensitivitysettingdeterminesthe
sizeatwhichsonartargetsareconsideredtobefish.Thehigherthevalue ,
themoresonartargetswillbeconsideredtobefish.
•[Ignorefishshallowerthan:]—Specifiesthedepthatwhichthefish
detectionalgorithmwillbeused.
•[Ignorefishdeeperthan:]—Specifiedthedepthatwhichthefishdetection
algorithmwillstopbeingused.
Usingtheseoptionsallowsyoutospecifyaspecificdepthbandofwater
whereyouwillbefishing,andalsothesizeofthefishyouwanttocatch.
19.10Sonarscrollback(history)
Y oucan“scrollback”intheFishfinderapptoviewsonarhistory.
Toactivatesonar“scrollback”,performthefollowing:
•SonarandDownVision—Swipeyourfingerlefttorightacrossthesonar
screen.
•SideVision—Swipeyourfingerfromthebottomtothetopofthesonar
screen.
•3DVision—Selecttheonscreen[Pause]icon.
Whensonarscrollbackisactive,thesonar[Scrollbackbar]and[Unpause]
iconsaredisplayed.
1.[Unpause]—Selectingthisoptionresumeslivesonarscrolling.
2.[Scrollbackbar]—Usethistomovebackandforwardthroughthe
availablesonarhistory.Y oucaneitherdragthepositionindicatorrightor
leftorselectaspecificlocationonthebartojumptothatposition.
InSonar,DownVisionandSideVisionchannels,subsequentswipesofthe
screenwillalso“rewind”thesonarhistory,andswipingintheopposite
directionwill“fastforward”thesonarhistory.
