InTidesmodetheTidesanimationcontrolisdisplayedonscreenandthe
TidestationandCurrentstationsymbolsintheChartapparereplacedwith
dynamicgraphicswhichidentifyTideandCurrentconditions.Y oucanuse
theanimationcontrolstoplayTideandCurrentpredictionsfora24hour
period.TheownvesselTidevectorisalsoenabledinTidesmode.

•TheTidesmodeisonlyavailableifyouhavecartographythatprovides
theTidesandCurrentdata.R

•TheTidesmoderequiresaccuratedateinformation,usuallytakenfrom
theGNSS(GPS)positiondataavailabletoyourMFD.Alternatively,you
caninputaspecificdatemanually.
1.Animationprogressbar—TheprogressbarisBlueforthecurrent24
hourperiod,orGreenwhenplayinganimationsfromadifferentday .
2.Skipforwards—Skipsforwardsinuserdefinedintervals,whentheend
oftheprogressbarisreachedskippingforwardwillprogresstothenext
day.
3.Skipbackwards—Skipsbackwardsinuserdefinedintervals.Whenthe
beginningoftheprogressbarisreached,skippingbackwardwillregress
tothepreviousday.
4.Skiptotheactualdate/time—PositiondataisrequiredfromyourGNSS
(GPS)receivertoobtaincurrentdateandtime.
5.Ownvesseltide(SetandDrift)vector.
6.Play/Pauseanimation—Whentheanimationisplayingitwillcycle
throughthecurrent24hourperiodcontinuously.
