specifiedinthe[Trailsperiod]setting.
Trailsaresubjecttotheselected“ReferenceMode”(i.e.[True],toshow
actualmotionover“ground”(COG),or[Relative],toshowmotionrelative
toyourvessel).
Trailscanbeenabledanddisabledusingthe[Showtrails]toggleswitch.
Historicalobjectpositionisshownasacoloredtrailbehindtheobject.
Onscreentargetsettings
Targetsettingsandinformationarealsoavailableusingtheonscreen[Image
adjustment]icon.
Thefollowingtargetsettingsandinformationisavailable:
•[REFERENCEMODE]—ChoosewhetherR adartargetsandobjectsare
displayedin[True]or[Relative]referencemode.
•VectorperiodandTrailinterval—Displayscurrentlyselectedvalues.
•[Cleartrails]—Clearsandresetsthetrailsdisplayedonscreen.
Clearing/resettingtrails
Inanareawithmultipletargetreturns,trailscancluttertheRadarimage,
reducingitsabilitytoprovideatarget’spath,underthesecircumstancesyou
canremoveallexistingtrailsusingtheonscreen[Cleartrails]option.
1.Selecttheonscreen[Imageadjustment]icon.
2.Select[Cleartrails].
Targetcontextmenu
Atargetcontextmenuisavailablethatprovidesquickaccesstousefultarget
settings.
ToopentheRadartargetcontextmenu,selectatargetonscreen.
TheRadarcontextmenuprovidesCPA,TCPA,
COGandSOGdatafortheselectedtarget.
Thecontextmenualsoprovidesthefollowing
targetmenuoptions:
•[Canceltarget]—TheRadartargetwillno
longerbetracked.
•[ShowCPA]—DetermineswhetherCPA
graphicsareshown.ThedefaultoptionisAuto
whichdisplaysCPAgraphicsforthetargetif
itbecomesdangerous.YoucanalsosetCPA
graphicstoOn,whichdisplaysCPAgraphics,if
thereisanintersectpointbetweenyourvessel’s
currentcourseandthetarget’s.WhensettoOff
noCPAgraphicswillbedisplayedforthetarget.
•[Targetinfo]—Determineswhetherthetarget’s
SOGandCOGinformationisdisplayedunder
thetargetonscreen.
