alsobeconfiguredtoprovideanactivealarmindicator.
Theapppageshomeiconindicatorcanbeenabledanddisabledfromthe
alarmsmanager:[Homescreen>Alarms>Settings>Homebuttonactive
alarmindicator].
Whenenabledthe[Home]iconwillturnredandhaveane xclamationmark
placedinsideit.
Thehomescreen[Alarms]iconwillidentifythenumberofactivealarms.
7.3Alarmsettings
Thealarmslistedbelowcanbeenabledanddisabledandwhereapplicable
alarmthresholdvaluescanbeadjusted.Certainalarmsmayrequirespecific
connectedperipheraldevicesorconfigurations.
Note:
Hardwaredependentalarmsareonlytriggeredwhenrelevanthardware
(e .g.:sensors)isconnectedandreportingthedatarequiredforthealarm.
•[DangerousR adartargets]—Ifenabled,analarmistriggeredwhenRadar
targetsbecomedangerous.Radartargetsaredeemeddangerouswhen
theyhavethepotentialtocrossyourpathwithinaspecifieddistanceand
time.Foralarmparametersreferto:p.296—Dangeroustargetsalarm
•[LostRadartargets]—Ifenabled,analarmistriggeredwhendangerous
Radartargetsbecomelost(i.e.:noRadarreturnfromthetargethasbeen
receivedfor20seconds).

targetsbecomedangerous.AIStargetsaredeemeddangerouswhenthey

istriggered.Thissettingallowsyoutospecifyaradiussizeforthree
typesofarrivalalarm.Whenyourvesselcrossesthespecifiedradius,the
WaypointArrivalalarmistriggered.ThefollowingWaypointarrivalalarms
areavailable:
–[Arrivalradius]—UsedwhentheMFDisNOTinpilotintegrationmode
andtheAutopilotisinTrackmode.
–[Pilottrackmoderadius]—UsedwhentheMFDisintegratedwithan
AutopilotandtheAutopilotisinTrackmode.
–[Searchroutearrivalradius]—UsedwhentheMFDisfollowingaSAR
pattern.AlsohelpfulwhenracesailingandusingLaylines,orwhen
fishing,asthisalarmsettingprovidesasmallerradiustoensureyou
don'tgetalertedtoofarawayfromthetargetwaypoint.
•[Interceptionarrival]—Ifenabled,duringtargetinterceptionanalarm
istriggeredwhenyourvesselreachesthedistancespecifiedin[Arrival
radius].
•[Offtrack]—Ifenabled,duringactivenavigationanalarmistriggered
whenyourvesselsteersofftrackbymorethanthespecified[Crosstrack
error]value.
•[Shallowdepth]—Ifenabled,whenthedepthdetectedbyyourdepth
transducerpassesthespecifiedvaluetheShallowdepthalarmistriggered.
