tracked.Thetargetoptionscanbeaccessedfromthetarget’scontext
menuandfromthePop-overoptionsintherelevanttargetlist.Theoptions
availablearedependentonthetypeoftarget.
Toaccessatarget’scontextmenu:
•Pressandholdonthetargetonscreen,or
•Highlightthetargetonscreenusingthe[Directioncontrols]andpressthe
[OK]button.
ToaccessthetargetlistPop-overmenu:
•Selectthetargetintherelevanttargetlist,or
•Highlightthetargetinthelistusingthe[Directioncontrols]andpressthe
[OK]button.
TOIoptions
TOIoptionsareavailablewhichchangethestatusanddetailsofaTOI.
ChangestoTOIoptionsaresentandreceivedoverSTEDSmessaging.
Note:
Conte xtmenuoptions—InadditiontotheTOIoptionslistedbelow,options
relevanttothetypeoftargettheTOIoriginatedfromwillalsobeavailable
inthetargetcontextmenu(i.e.:Radar,AIS,DSCorIntel).
•[CancelT OI]—TOIscanbecancelledbyselecting[CancelTOI].
–SentTOI—Whenasenderselects[CancelTOI]thelocalTOItarget
iconwillreverttoitsoriginaltargeticonandtheTOIisautomatically
cancelledforallrecipients.
–ReceivedTOI—Whenarecipientselects[RequestTOIcancellation]a
cancellationrequestissenttotheoriginatorandonceacknowledged
theTOItargeticonwillberemovedorreverttoitsoriginaltargeticon.
•[TOIdescription]—ThetypeofvesselthattheTOItargeticonrepresents
canbesetorupdatedusingthe[TOIdescription]option.Changesare
automaticallyupdatedforthesenderandallrecipients.
•[TOIstatus]—ThestatusoftheTOIcanbesetorupdatedusingthe[TOI
status]option.Changesareautomaticallyupdatedforthesenderand
allrecipients.
•[Intercept]—Selecting[Intercept]initiatestargetinterceptionforthe
selectedtarget.Fordetailssee:p.195—Targetintercept
•[Centreonchart]—Selecting[Centreonchart]centrestheTOIintheChart
app.
•[Viewrelatedmessages]—Selecting[Viewrelatedmessages]opensthe
STEDSmessagingappanddisplaysallrelatedmessages(messagesthat
havethesamelinkIDastheselectedTOI).
•[TOIrate]—TherateoftransmissioncanbechangedforrecurringTOIsby
selecting[TOIrate]andthenselectingtherequiredrate.

removestheTOIiconfromtheChartapporrevertsthetargeticontoits
previoustargeticon.
