Calibrateyourwindtransducerasfollows:

•[Alignwindtransducer]—Headyourboatdirectlyintoobservedwind
andselect[Align].
•[Angleadjustment]—Y oucanapplyaspecifiedoffsettowindangle
readings.
•[Speedadjustment]—Y ouaddascalingfactortoapparentwindspeed.
Speedcalibration
Calibrateyourspeedtransducerasfollows:.
Forbestresults,ensurethatthereisminimalornotide/currenteffectwhen
calibratingspeedthroughwater.
•[SetSTWtoSOG]—SelecttoapplyascalingfactortoallSTWreadings,
basedonthepresentdifferencebetweenSTWandSOG.
•[AdjustSTW]—Applyascalingfactortoallspeedthroughwatervalues.
Multipledatasources(MDS)
MDSisaRaymarineschemeformanagingmultiplesourcesofidenticaldata
typesonthesamenetwork(e.g.:inanMFDnetworkyoumayhavemorethan
onesourceofGPS/GNSSpositiondata).
TheMFDwillautomaticallyselectapreferreddatasource(device)touse
forthatdatatype.
MDScanbeusedforthefollowingdatatypes:
•Depth
•Speedthroughwater
•Heading
•GPS
•GPSDatum
•Wind
•Time&Date
Ifyoudonotwanttousetheautomaticallyselecteddatasourceyoucan
manuallyselectyourpreferreddatasource.
