bechangedtoprovidemoreorlessviewaheadofyourvessel.The
[Boatposition]settingcanbesetto[Center](A),[Partialoffset](B)or
[Fulloffset](C).
2.[Truemotion]—Truemotionmodekeepsthechartfixedandthevessel
iconwillmoveacrossthescreen,whenthevesseliconreachestheedge
ofthescreenthechartisredrawnandthevesseliconwillbemovedto
theoppositesideofthescreensothatitcanmoveacrosstheredrawn
chart.Truemotionmodeisnotavailablewhenchartorientationisset
to[Head-up].
3.[Autorange]—Autorangemaintainsthelargestchartscalethatwill
displayboththevesseliconanddestination/targetwaypoint.
Boatpositioninnotavailablein[Truemotion]or[Autorange]modes..
The[Chartmotion]and[Boatposition]optionsareavailablefromthe[View&
Motion]settingsmenu:[Menu>Settings>View&Motion].
Chartorientation
Theorientationsettingdetermineshowthechartisorientatedinrelationto
youvessel’sdirectionoftravel.
Thefollowingchartorientationsareavailable:
1.[North-up]—InNorth-upmodethechartisfixedwithtruenorthpointing
up.Asyourheadingchangesthevesseliconrotatesaccordingly.
North-upisthedefaultchartorientation.
2.[Course-up]—InCourse-upmode,whenthereisactivenavigationthe
currentdestinationwaypointpointsdirectlyup.Whenthedestination
waypointchangesthechartwillrotateaccordingly.Thereferenceused
forCourse-updependsupontheinformationavailable.
3.[Head-up]—InHead-upmodethevessel’sheadingalwayspointsdirectly
up.Asyourheadingchangesthechartrotatesaccordingly.InHead-up
modeifheadingdataisnotavailablethenstableCOGisusedinstead.
IfheadingorCOGisnotavailablethenHead-upmodeissuspended
andthechartwillorientatetodisplay0degreesdirectlyupifthereisno
activenavigationorCourse-upifthereisactivenavigation.
Note:
•Topreventconstantrotationsasthevesselyawsthechartwillnot
updateunlesstheheadingchangesbyatleast10degreesfromthe
lastdisplayedorientation.
•Head-upmodeisnotavailablewhenchartmotionissetto[True
motion].
