Effect Guide
Overview
The NAUTILUS provides 12 insert effects, two master
effects, and two total effects, together with a mixer section
that controls the routing of these effects.
For each of these effect processors, you can choose from 197
different types of effects, grouped into the following
categories:
Effects categories
Effect presets
You can save parameter settings for each effect from
001:Stereo Compressor through 197:Rotary Speaker Pro CX
Custom, to the NAUTILUS’s internal memory. This
function is called “effect presets”.
Although the effect parameters you have configured are
saved for each Program, Combination and song, effect
presets let you save variations for each effect. The effect
settings you like are saved as presets, and you can easily
recall them from other Programs or modes.
The following presets can be saved to memory for each
effect.
P00: Initial Set: These are the default settings that are
recalled when selecting an effect on the Insert FX page. The
settings cannot be saved here.
P01...P15: This area includes the preset data.
U00...U15: This area is for saving user settings.
Some effects do not contain preset data.
----------------: This will be shown after selecting the effect.
The function does not work simply by being displayed.
Selecting the “-------” will not change anything.
For more information, see “Effect preset function” on
page 103.
