0–2: Save
Here you can save data from internal memory to internal or
external disks, CD-R/RW, flash media, etc.
Use the Open and Up buttons to move to the desired
directory, and then select the desired menu command. For
general information on using the file browser, see “0–1:
Load” on page 695.
When you execute a Save operation, the data will be saved in
the current directory.
Do not turn off the power for at least 10 seconds after
using any of the Save commands. This allows the system
time to complete the process, which may continue in the
background even after the disk operation appears to be
complete.
File date and time
The NAUTILUS contains an internal calendar and clock.
When you save a file, it is marked with the current date and
time. This can be particularly helpful if you have more than
one version of a file, since it lets you see which version is the
most recent.
To set the current date and time for the NAUTILUS system,
use the Utility page menu command Set Date/Time. For
more information, see “Set Date/Time” on page 725.
