Toaccessatarget’scontextmenu:
•Pressandholdonthetargetonscreen,or
•Highlightthetargetonscreenusingthe[Directioncontrols]andpressthe
[OK]button.

•Selectthetargetintherelevanttargetlist,or

AIStargetoptions
ThefollowingoptionsareavailableforAIStargets.
•[Viewfulltargetdata]—ViewfullscreenpagedisplayingallavailableAIS
data.
•[Addasbuddy]—Addthetargetasabuddy.TheBuddyfeatureenables
youtoaddAIS-equippedfriendsandregularcontactsas‘buddies’.
Buddyvesselswillbedisplayedonscreenandinthetargetlistusingthe
Y ellowAISbuddyicon.WhenassigninganAIStargetasabuddyyou
cancustomizethenamethatisusedforthetargetvessel.Thefollowing
additionalTargetlistPop-overoptionsareavailableforbuddyvessels:
–[Removeasbuddy]—ThetargetwillreverttousingnormalAIStarget
icon.
–[Editbuddyname]—ChangetheNameofthebuddytarget.

AIStargetlist
Thetargetlistidentifies:Targetname,RangeandBearingfromyourvessel.
Whererelevant,CPA(Closestpointofapproach)andTCPA(TimetoClosest
PointofApproach)valueswillalsobedisplayed.
TheAIStargetslistcanbeaccessedfromtheTargetsmenuintheRadarapp
andChartapp:[Menu>Targets>AIS]
Thetargetlistissortedbytargetproximitytoyourvesselwiththeclosest
targetappearingatthetopofthelist.Thelistwillautomaticallyupdateas
targetsbecomecloserorfartheraway.
SelectingatargetfromthelisthighlightstheselectedtargetintheLiveView
apppaneontherightofthepageandopensthePop-overmenu.
AISsettingsmenu
YoucanconfigureAIStargetsettingsfromthe[AISSettings]menu:[Menu>
Targets>AISSettings].
Thefollowingoptionsareavailable:
•[ShowAIStargetsinchart]/[ShowAIStargetsinRadar]—Enablesand
disablesdisplayofAIStargetsintheChartapp/Radarapp.
•[EnhancedAIStargets]—Enablesanddisablesthedisplayofenhanced
AIStargeticons.
•[AISnames]—Whenenabled,AIStargetnamesarepermanentlydisplayed
nexttoAIStargeticons.
•[ShowtheseAIStypes]—EnablesselectionofthetypesofAIStargetthat
