Axiom®orAxiom®2displayusingamobiledeviceandtheRaymarineapp.
Thefollowingpre-requisitesshouldbeobserved:
•Ifusingmobiledata,ensureyouhavesufficientdataallowanceremaining
topreventbeingcharged.
•Ensureyouhavesufficientfreespaceonyourmobiledevice’sinternal
storageforthechartstobedownloadedto.
•EnsurethatthememorycardyouwanttouseisformattedintheexFATfile
systemformat(ChartcardspurchasedfromtheRaymarinechartstorewill
arriveinthisformat).
•Ensurethatthememorycardhasbeeninsertedintothedisplay’scard
readerpriortocommencingtheprocess(thiswillcreatethenecessary
Lighthouse_IDfileinthecard’srootdirectory.
•Afilenamed‘Lighthouse_charts’mustbecreatedinthememorycard’s
rootdirectory(ChartcardspurchasedfromtheRaymarinechartstorewill
alreadyincludethisfile).
•Itisrecommendedthattherearenootherfilesonthememorycardprior
todownloadingchartstoit.
•Ensure[Allowdevicestoconnect]isenabledinyourdisplaysettings:
–Element™displays:[Homescreen>Settings>Wi-Fi].
–Axiom®displays:[Homescreen>Settings>Thisdisplay>Wi-Fi
SHARING].
•Partoftheprocessinvolvesconnectingyourmobiledevice’sWi-Fitoyour
