⢠When receiving an All Programs data dump, only bank
data whose bank type matches will be received. If banks
of a different bank type are received, the message
āProgram Bank Type Conflictsā will be displayed.
Reset Controller MIDI Assign
This automatically sets the MIDI CC# Assignā Controllers
on the Controllers/Scalesā Controllers page.
5. Choose āReset Controller MIDI Assignā to open the
dialog box.
6. Set the āToā field to the desired reset method.
All Off: All settings will be Off.
Default Setting: The ARP/DRUM controls and pads will
all be set to Off; the X-Y Control will be set to its default
CCs.
CC Default: This sets up the recommended CCs for the
pads and ARP/DRUM controls, as well as the X-Y
Control. The default values are shown in the table below.
If you want to record ARP/DRUM controllers in
SEQUENCER mode, or use the controllers with external
MIDI devices, we recommend using this setting.
(You are also free to assign different MIDI CCs to the
controllers, if you wish.)
7. Press the OK button to execute the reset command, or
press the Cancel button to cancel.
Reset Controller MIDI Assign Default
Copy Scale
This command copies data from a preset scale or between
user scales. For details on the preset scales, see ā1ā1e:
Scaleā on page 38.
1. Select āCopy Scaleā to open the dialog box.
2. Use āFromā to select the copy-source scale.
If you select Pure Major or Pure Minor, specify the āKeyā
(located at the right) as well.
Stretch cannot be selected if āToā is User All Notes Scale.
3. In āTo,ā selects the copy destination scale.
4. To execute the Copy Scale command, press the OK
button. To cancel, press the Cancel button.
Clear Special Function Assignments
This command appears on the Function Assign page. It
resets all of the assignments to the default values: MIDI
Channel = Gch, and CC = Off.
Write Wave Sequence
A dialog box for saving a wave sequence will appear. You
can select a new location, and edit the name of the wave
sequence.
You must write an edited wave sequence if you want to keep
it. An edited wave sequence cannot be recovered if you turn
off the power or select a different wave sequence before
writing it.
1. Choose āWrite Wave Sequenceā to open the dialog
box.
2. The upper line shows the Wave Sequence name. To
edit the name, press the text edit button to open the
text edit dialog box, and set the name as desired (up to
24 characters).
If a USB QWERTY keyboard (commercially available) is
connected, you can use this to enter text instead of the on-
screen keyboard. For more information, see āEditing
names and entering textā on page 202 of the OG.
3. Use the lower line āTo Wave Sequenceā to select the
writing-destination.
You can also press the popup button and choose the
writing-destination from the āWave Sequence Selectā
