fabric-binding activate
fabric-binding activate
To activate fabric binding in a VSAN, use the fabric-binding activate command. To disable this feature,
use the no form of the command.
fabric-binding activate vsan vsan-id [force]
no fabric-binding activate vsan vsan-id
Syntax Description
Command Default Disabled.

Examples The following example activates the fabric binding database for the specified VSAN:
switch(config)# fabric-binding activate vsan 1
The following example deactivates the fabric binding database for the specified VSAN:
switch(config)# no fabric-binding activate vsan 10
The following example forcefully activates the fabric binding database for the specified VSAN
switch(config)# fabric-binding activate vsan 3 force
The following example reverts to the previously configured state or to the factory default (if no state is
configured):
switch(config)# no fabric-binding activate vsan 1 force
Related Commands
vsan vsan-id Specifies the VSAN. The ID of the VSAN is from 1 to 4093.
force (Optional) Forces fabric binding activation.
