Purpose
To enable SNMP trap support.
Syntax
enable snmp traps
Description
The enable snmp traps command enables SNMP trap support on
the Switch.
Parameters
None.
Restrictions
Only Administrator or operator-level users can issue this command
Example usage:
To enable SNMP trap support on the Switch:
DES-1210-52/ME:5# enable snmp traps
Command: enable snmp traps
Success.

disable snmp traps
Purpose
To disable SNMP trap support on the Switch.
Syntax
disable snmp traps
Description
