Example usage:
To display the Switch’s current VLAN_trunk settings:
DES-1210-52/ME:5# show vlan_trunk
Command: show vlan_trunk

config vlan_trunk ports
Purpose
To configure VLAN Trunking port settings on the Switch.
Syntax
config vlan_trunk ports [<portlist> | all] state [enable | disable]
Description
The config vlan_trunk ports command configures the VLAN
trunking port settings on the Switch. The user can enable VLAN
Trunking and define ports to be added to the VLAN Trunking
settings.
Parameters
[<portlist> | all] A port, range of ports or all ports for which to
configure VLAN Trunking.
state [enable | disable] enable and disable VLAN trunking.
Restrictions
Only administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To define VLAN Trunking:
DES-1210-52/ME:5# config vlan_trunk ports all state enable
Command: config vlan_trunk ports all state enable
Success.

enable asymmetric_vlan
Purpose
To enable Asymmetric VLAN on the switch.
Syntax
enable asymmetric_vlan
Description
The enable asymmetric_vlan command, along with the disable
enable asymmetric_vlan command below, is used to enable and
disable Asymmetric VLAN on the Switch
Parameters
None.
Restrictions
Only administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To enable Asymettric VLAN on the switch:
DES-1210-52/ME:5# enable asymmetric_vlan
