disable ipif_ipv6_link_local_auto System
Purpose
Used to disable the autoconfiguration of the IPv6 link local address.
Syntax
disable ipif_ipv6_link_local_auto System
Description
This disable ipif_ipv6_link_local_auto System command will
disable the automatic creation of an IPv6 link local address for the
Switch. Once this command is entered, any previous IPv6 link local
address that has been created for the IP interface selected will be
deleted from the switch.
Parameters
None.
Restrictions
Only Administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To disable the IP interface IPv6 link-local settings on the switch:
DES-1210-52/ME:5# disable ipif_ipv6_link_local_auto System
Command: disable ipif_ipv6_link_local_auto System
Success.
