FORWARDING DATABASE COMMANDS
The Forwarding Database commands in the Command Line Interface (CLI) are listed (along with the
appropriate parameters) in the following table.
<vlan_name 32> <macaddr> port <port 1-52>

Each command is listed in detail, as follows:
To create a static entry in the unicast MAC address forwarding table
(database)
create fdb <vlan_name 32> <macaddr> port <port 1-52>
The create fdb command creates a static entry in the Switch’s
unicast MAC address forwarding database.
<vlan_name 32> − The name of the VLAN on which the MAC
address resides.
<macaddr> − The MAC address to be added to the forwarding table.
