create address_binding ip_mac
Purpose
Used to create an IP-MAC-port binding entry.
Syntax
create address_binding ip_mac [ipaddress <ipaddr> |
ipv6address <ipv6addr>] mac_address <macaddr> port <port 1-
52>
Description
The create address_binding ip_mac ipaddress command is used
to create an IP-MAC-port binding entry.
Parameters
ipaddress <ipaddr> – The IPv4 address of the device where the IP-
MAC-port binding is made.
Ipv6address <ipv6addr> – The IPv4v6 address of the device where
the IP-MAC-port binding is made.
<macaddr> – The MAC address of the device where the IP-MAC-
port binding is made.
<port 1-52> – Specifies a port to be configured for address binding.
Restrictions
Only administrator or operate-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To create address binding on the Switch:
DES-1210-52/ME:5# create address_binding ip_mac ipaddress 10.0.0.21
mac_address 00-00-00-00-01-02 port 3
