The disable auto learing command disables the MAC address auto
learning feature on the Switch.
Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To disable auto learning on the Switch:
DES-1210-52/ME:5# disable auto learning
Command: disable auto learning
Success.
DES-1210-52/ME:5#
To save changes in the Switch’s configuration to non-volatile RAM.
save {[config config_id <value 1-2> | log]}
The save command used to enter the current switch configuration
into non-volatile RAM. The saved switch configuration will be loaded
into the Switch’s memory each time the Switch is restarted.
config – Used to save the current configuration to a file.
config_id <value 1-2> - Specifies which cfg file ID. if cfg ID is not
specified, it refers to the boot_up CFG file.
log – Used to save the current log to a file. The log file cannot be
deleted.
Only administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To save the Switch’s current configuration to non-volatile RAM:
DES-1210-52/ME:5# save
Command: save
Building configuration ...
[OK]
DES-1210-52/ME:5#
To reload the configuration of the Switch.
reload config config_id <value 1-2>
The reload config command allows user to reload the configuration
of the Switch.
config_id <value 1-2> - Specified the configuration id to be reloaded.
Only Administrator -level users can issue this command.
