config snmp system_contact
Purpose
To enter the name of a contact person who is responsible for the
Switch.
Syntax
config snmp system_contact <string 128>
Description
The config snmp system_contact command is used to enter the
name and/or other information to identify a contact person who is
responsible for the Switch. A maximum of 128 character can be
used.
Parameters
<string 128> A maximum of 128 characters is allowed. A NULL
string is accepted if there is no contact.
Restrictions
Only Administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To configure the Switch contact to “MIS”:
DES-1210-52/ME:5# config snmp system_contact MIS
Command: config snmp system_contact MIS
Success.
DES-1210-52/ME:5#
config snmp system_location
Purpose
To enter a description of the location of the Switch.
Syntax
config snmp system_location <string 128>
