config authen parameter
Purpose
To provide user to configure the authentication parameters on the
Switch.
Syntax
config authen parameter [attempt <int 1-255> |
response_timeout <int 0-255>]
Description
The config authen parameter attempt command provides user to
configure the authentication parameters on the Switch.
Parameters
attempt <integer 1-255> – Specifies the attempt of authentication
parameter on the Switch. The value range is between 1 and 255.
response_timout <integer 0-255> – Specifies the response timout of
authentication parameter on the Switch. The value range is between
0 and 255.
Restrictions
Only Administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To configure the default method list for the command line interface:
DES-1210-52/ME:5# config authen parameter attempt 10
Command: config authen parameter attempt 10
Success.
DES-1210-52/ME:5#
show authen parameter
Purpose
To display authentication parameters for the various applications on
the Switch.
Syntax
show authen parameter
Description
The show authen parameter command displays the authentication
parameter on the Switch.
Parameters
None.
Restrictions
Only Administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To display the authentication parameters for all applications on the Switch:
DES-1210-52/ME:5# show authen parameter
Command: show authen parameter
Response Timeout : 30 seconds
User Attempts : 3
DES-1210-52/ME:5#
create authen server_host
Purpose
To create an authentication server host.
Syntax
create authen server_host [<ipaddr> | ipv6address <ipv6addr>]
