TRAFFIC SEGMENTATION COMMANDS
The Traffic Segmentation commands in the Command Line Interface (CLI) are listed (along with the
appropriate parameters) in the following table.
config

<portlist> forward_list [null | <portlist>]
show traffic_
segmentation
Each command is listed in detail, as follows:
config traffic_segmentation
To configure traffic segmentation on the Switch.
config traffic_segmentation <portlist> forward_list [null |
<portlist>]
The config traffic_segmentation command configures traffic
segmentation on the Switch.
<portlist> – A port or a port channel for which the current traffic
segmentation configuration on the Switch is to be displayed.
forward_list – Specifies a port or a port channel to receive forwarded
frames from the source ports specified in the portlist, above.
Only administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To configure ports 1~5 to be able to forward frames to port 5~8:
DES-1210-52/ME:5# config traffic_segmentation 1-5 forward_list 5-8
Command: config traffic_segmentation 1-5 forward_list 5-8
Success.

show traffic_segmentation
To display the current traffic segmentation configuration on the
Switch.
show traffic_segmentation {<portlist>}
The show traffic_segmentation command displays the current
traffic segmentation configuration on the Switch.
<portlist> – A port or a port channel for which the current traffic
segmentation configuration on the Switch is to be displayed.
