enable igmp_snooping
Purpose
To enable IGMP snooping on the Switch.
Syntax
enable igmp_snooping {multicast_vlan |
forward_mcrouter_only}
Description
The enable igmp_snooping command enables IGMP snooping on
the Switch.
Parameters
{multicast_vlan | forward_mcrouter_only} − Enables the multicast
VLAN or forward mcrouter for IGMP Snooping on the Switch.
Restrictions
Only administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To enable IGMP snooping on the Switch:
DES-1210-52/ME:5# enable igmp_snooping
Command: enable igmp_snooping
Success.

disable igmp_snooping
Purpose
To disable IGMP snooping on the Switch.
Syntax
disable igmp_snooping {multicast_vlan |
forward_mcrouter_only}
Description
The disable igmp_snooping command disables IGMP snooping on
the Switch. IGMP snooping can be disabled only if IP multicast
routing is not being used. Disabling IGMP snooping allows all IGMP
and IP multicast traffic to flood within a given IP interface.
