Whencombinationmonitoringisstartedwithanon-admittedtelemetrypatient,these
samesettingsfromthemonitorwillbesenttotelemetry.Additionally,theTelemetry
Waveformsprintinglocationissenttotelemetry.
Ifthetelemetryalarmpriorityissuchthatitisnotsupportedbythemonitor,itwillbe
mappedtothenexthigherpriorityavailable.
NOTE
Patient’sageaffectsthealarmlimitsandalarmpriorities
andalsothecongurationoftheECGalgorithmincluding
arrhythmiaalarmsinthecombinationmonitoringmode.

Whencombinationmonitoringisstartedwithanon-admittedtelemetrypatient,the
printouttypeselectionwillbesenttothetelemetrytransmitter.
CAUTION
Usersshouldbeawarethatallwaveformsmaybedelayed
upto2secondsinthecombinationmonitoringmode.Ifthe
delayneedstobeavoided,thecombinationmonitoringmode
shouldbediscontinuedandallwaveformsshouldbeacquired
viathehard-wiredbedsidemonitor.
CAUTION
Usersshouldbeawareofapossibletimediscrepancy
betweenthewaveformsfromthetelemetrydeviceandthe
waveformsfromadevicehard-wiredtothemonitor.Users
shouldnotconsiderthesewaveformstobesynchronous.If
absolutesynchronicityisdesired,thecombinationmonitoring
modeshouldbediscontinuedandtheECGwaveformsshould
beacquiredviathehard-wiredbedsidemonitor.
