Patient’sageaffectsthealarmlimitsandalarmpriorities
andalsothecongurationoftheECGalgorithmincluding
arrhythmiaalarmsinthecombinationmonitoringmode.

Whencombinationmonitoringisstartedwithanon-admittedtelemetrypatient,the
printouttypeselectionwillbesenttothetelemetrytransmitter.
CAUTION
Usersshouldbeawarethatallwaveformsmaybedelayed
upto2secondsinthecombinationmonitoringmode.Ifthe
delayneedstobeavoided,thecombinationmonitoringmode
shouldbediscontinuedandallwaveformsshouldbeacquired
viathehard-wiredbedsidemonitor.
CAUTION
Usersshouldbeawareofapossibletimediscrepancy
betweenthewaveformsfromthetelemetrydeviceandthe
waveformsfromadevicehard-wiredtothemonitor.Users
shouldnotconsiderthesewaveformstobesynchronous.If
absolutesynchronicityisdesired,thecombinationmonitoring
modeshouldbediscontinuedandtheECGwaveformsshould
beacquiredviathehard-wiredbedsidemonitor.

Thissettingisavailableifthetelemetrylicenseisenabledandthecombination
monitoringmodeMonitororTelemetryhasbeenenabledduringconguration.The
monitorneedstobeintheCARESCAPENetwork.
1.SelecttheHRparameterwindow.
2.SelectasourcefromtheECGSourcelist.
Thislistcontainsthemonitorandavailabletelemetrytransmitter(s).Whenyou
conrmthesourceselectionwithConrm,theconnectionbetweentheselected
transmitterandmonitorwillbeestablished(telemetrytransmitterselected),orthe
patientisdischargedfromthetelemetrytransmitter(monitorselected).
UsingtheECGmeasurement
TherstthreedisplayedECGleads
YoucanchoosetheorderoftheECGwaveformsdisplayedintheECGwaveformarea.
LeadselectiondependsonthetypeofECGcableused.
TheECG1Lead,ECG2Lead,andECG3Leadsettingsaffectarrhythmiadetection.
WhenECG1Lead,ECG2Lead,orECG3Leadarechangedmanuallyandthelead
becomesinactiveduetoadisconnection,themonitorlookstotheECGleadsavedin
thepatientprole.IfECG1Leadisnotavailable,themonitorlooksforleadII,then
leadI,andlastlyleadIII.Later,ifthemanuallyselectedleadbecomesavailableagain,
themonitorwillchangebacktothislead.
