monitortoanewlocation.
1.Selectthepatientinformationareaonscreen.
2.SelecttheCareUnit&Bedtab.
3.SelecttheCareUnitNamefromthedropdownlist.
ChangingtheCareUnitNamewillalsoupdatethecontentsoftheBedNamelist.
YoucanalsochangethenamemanuallythroughNewUnit&Bed.Thisselectionis
availableintheCareUnit&BedmenuifithasbeenallowedintheRovingsettings.
EnteringtheLocationIDfor12SL
Ifrovingbetweenunitsisallowedandthe12SLECGwithACITIPIisenabled,youcan
entertheLocationIDthatwillbeusedinthe12SLreports.
1.Selectthepatientinformationareaonscreen.
2.SelecttheCareUnit&Bedtab.
3.SelecttheLocationIDeldandentertheIDwiththeon-screennumerickeypad.
Youcanenteranynumberfrom0to599.
Rovingbetweenbeds
Ifrovingbetweenbedsisallowed,youcanupdatethebednamewhenneeded.
1.Selectthepatientinformationarea.
2.SelecttheCareUnit&Bedtab.
3.SelecttheBedNamefromthedropdownlist.
Thenewnameappearsintheupperrightcornerofthedisplay.Theunitnameisgiven
rst,thenadashandthebedname(forinstance,UNIT1–BED1).
YoucanalsochangethenamemanuallythroughNewUnit&Bed,orthroughNew
Bed.TheseselectionsareavailableintheCareUnit&Bedmenuaccordingtowhat
hasbeenallowedintheRovingsettings.
Addingnewunitsandbeds(manualroving)
Ifmanualrovingbetweenbedsand/orunitsisallowed,youcanalsoentertheir
namesmanually.
1.Selectthepatientinformationarea.
2.SelecttheCareUnit&Bedtab.
3.SelectNewUnit&Bed.
IftheRovingsettingsdonotallowrovingbetweenunits,theNewUnit&Bedis
notavailable.Inthiscase,selectNewBedtoenteranewbedname.
4.SelecttheCareUnitNameortheBedNameeldandtypethenewnamewith
theon-screenkeyboard.
ThemaximumnumberofcharactersfortheCareUnitNameisseven,andfor
theBedNameitisve.
