capacitygauge(labeledwithtextPDM)indicatesthebattery’schargelevel.
B650andB450:ThePDMbatteryisnormallychargedwheneverthePDM,withits
batteryinstalled,isconnectedtothemonitorunlessthemonitorbatteryisbeing
chargedorprintingtoarecorderisactive.
YoucanalsochargePDMonanexternalcharger.Refertothecharger’sinstructions
foruse.

1.Openthebatterydoorbygentlypullingonthebatterydoorpulltab.
2.PullthebatterytrayoutofthePDMusingthebatterytraystrapandremovethe
batteryfromthebatterytray.
3.Insertthenewbatterywiththetestbuttonfacingupandthearrowpointinginto
thePDM.
4.Pressthebatterydoorcloseduntilitsealsthebatterycompartment.
5.ConnectthePDMtothemonitor.
6.ConrmthePDMbatterycapacitygaugedisplaysonthemonitor.
Batteryrecycling
Whenabatterynolongerholdsacharge,itshouldbereplaced.Removetheold
batteryandfollowyourlocalrecyclingguidelines.

Donotincinerateabatteryorstoreathightemperatures.
Seriousinjuryordeathcouldresult.
Abouttheinternallithiumbattery
Themonitorcontainsalithiumbattery.Thisbatteryretainsthecorrecttimeanddate
onthemonitor.
