3.SelectanoptionfromtheApneaLimitSecondslist.

Oandvolatileanestheticsareused,preventoperatingroompollutionby
connectingthemonitor’ssamplegasoutlettothescavengingsystemorbyreturning
thesamplegastothepatientcircuit.

Thegasexhaustmaybescavengedusingthescavengingadapterpackage.
1.Removetheexhaustadapterandtubefromthepackage.
2.Attachtheconnectorendoftheexhausttubetothemoduleoutletmarked
EXHAUST.
3.Installtheexhaustadapterintothegasscavengingsystemoftheanesthesia
deliverysystem,followingtheanesthesiamachinemanufacturer’srecommended
procedure.
4.Drapetheexhausttubesothatitdoesnotinterferewiththeworkarea.

scavenging.
2.Checkthepatient’sbreathingcircuit.
3.Removethegasmodulefromthemonitorwhenitisnotused.
