●StartNewisavailablewhenthereisnoactivepatientcase/admittedpatient
onthemonitor.Selectthistoloadpatientdatafromthenetwork.
●ResetCurrentorDischargeCurrentisavailablewhenthereisanactive
case/admittedpatientonthemonitor.Selectthistoendthecase/discharge
thepatientonthemonitorandtoeraseallpatientdata.Theselectedpatient
caseisloadedfromthenetwork.
●MergetoCurrentwhenthereisanactivepatientcase/admittedpatientonthe
monitorandthesamepatientcanbefoundatthecentralstation.Selectthisto
combinetheirpatientdata.
ThemessageLoadingfromnetworkisdisplayeduntilalldatahasbeenloaded.The
monitorwillsendallupdatedpatientdataexcepttrendstoaconnectedPDMorTRAM.
Aboutstandby
Whenyouremovethepatienttemporarilyfromthemonitor,youcanusethestandby
option.StandbylocationsaredenedduringcongurationthroughMonitorSetup
>DefaultSetup>CareUnitSettings>StandbySites.Thesesettingsarepassword
protected.

Startingstandby
1.Selectthepatientinformationareaonthescreen.
2.SelecttheStandbytab.
3.Selecttheradiobuttonforanappropriatestandbylocation.
Thefactorydefaultlocationsarethefollowingbuttheycanbechangedduring
conguration:
●OperatingRoom
●MRI
●CTScan
●Physiotherapy
●Dialysis
●Radiology
4.SelectPrepareforStandby.
Ifpatientcablesarestillconnectedandthemonitorreceivesvitalsigns,atext
indicatingthataudioalarmshavebeenpausedappears.
5.Disconnectpatientcablestostartthestandby.
Ifyoudonotdisconnectthecablesandvitalssignsarestillpresentaftertheaudio
pausetimeexpires,thestandbyiscanceled.
6.CheckthattheNIBPAutoisturnedoff.
ThescreengoesblankandtheGElogowithatextlikePatienttemporarilyinMRI
(locationaccordingtoyourselection)appears.
