Entropymeasurementdescription
EEGsignalsreecttheunderlyingstateofbrainactivity.Asapersonfallsasleepor
isanesthetized,thebrainfunction(activity)startstodecreaseandbecomesmore
orderlyandregular.EEGchangesfromirregulartomoreregularpatternswhen
anesthesiadeepens.Similarly,frontalEMGquietsdownasthedeeperpartsofthe
brainareincreasinglysaturatedwithanesthetics.
EntropymeasurementisbasedonprocessingofrawEEGandFEMGsignalsby
