3.SelectanAlarmLight%value.
Thegreaterthevalue,thebrighterthelight.
Audiblealarmsignals
Whenmorethanonealarmoccursatthesametime,themonitorwillsoundan
alarmtoneforthehighestpriorityalarm.Anylowerpriorityaudiblealarmtonesare
suppressedbythehigherpriorityalarmtone.
Themostrecentofthealarmsthathasthehighestprioritylevelatthismomentisthe
alarmthatisbroadcastonthenetwork.Forexample,ifthereisonemedium-priority
alarmandalow-priorityalarmappears,themedium-priorityalarmisbroadcast,not
themostrecent(low-priority)alarm.Ifthereisonemedium-priorityalarmandanother
medium-priorityalarmappears,thelatestalarmthatappearedisbroadcast.
Alarmtones
Thealarmtonesmaybeconguredtosoundinoneoftwodifferenttonepatterns:
LegacyorIEC.IECtonesare60601-1-8compliant.Legacyalarmtonesmatchthe
tonesusedonsomepreviousGEmonitoringdevices.

AVOAalarmtonesmaydifferfromthelocalmonitoralarmtones.Boththehighest
prioritylocalalarmtoneandthehighestAVOAalarmtonewillsound,butina
sequencecontainingonelocalalarmtonepatternandoneAVOAalarmtonepattern.
IfthesametoneshavebeenselectedforAVOAandlocalalarms,thenonlythehighest
prioritytonewillsound.
Adjustingthealarmvolume
TheselectionsintheAlarmsSetupmenuvaryaccordingtowhathasbeencongured
intheCareUnitSettings>Alarms(passwordprotected).
1.SelectAlarmSetupfromthemonitor’smainmenu.
2.SelecttheAudible&Visualtab.
3.Adjustthevolumeaccordingtowhatisavailableinthemenu:
●AdjusttheAlarmVolumevalue.Thisisthevolumeforallalarms.
●AdjusttheAlarmVolumefor:separatelyforHigh&MediumPriorityandLow
Priority.
