Netherlands.TheSecondIdhasnonetworksupport,soonlytheMedical
RecordNumbercanbeusedforsearchingandretrievingpatientdatafrom
thenetwork.BothMedicalRecordNumberandSecondIdwillappearinthe
printouts.
b.SelectEditAllDemographicsandselectvaluesfordifferenttypesofdata.
If12SLECGwithACI-TIPIor12RL12leadECGislicensed,alsotheEthnicity
selectionisavailable.
YoucaneditHeightandWeightalsofromthelistsonthePatienttab.
c.IfthecombinationmonitoringmodeMonitororTelemetryhasbeenenabled
intheconguration,theECGSourceselectionisavailable.Youcanselect
theECGSourcefromalistcontainingthemonitorandavailabletelemetry
transmitter(s).WhenyouconrmthesourceselectionwithConrm,the
connectionbetweentheselectedtransmitterandmonitorwillbeestablished
(telemetrytransmitterselected),orthepatientisdischargedfromthetelemetry
transmitter(monitorselected).

Youcanscanpatientdatafrombarcodesifthisfunctionhasbeenenabledduring
conguration.Formoreinformation,seethemonitor’stechnicalmanual.
1.Selectthepatientinformationareaonthescreen,orselectData&Pages>
Admit/DischargeorStart/ResetCase.
2.SelectthePatienttab.
3.SelectScanfromBarcode.
Anyinformation,includingemptyelds,scannedfromthebarcodesreplacesthe
correspondinginformationpreviouslyenteredfromthemonitor.
4.YoucancancelthescanningbyselectingCancelScan.
Abouttherovingfunctionality
Rovingfunctionalityallowsyoutomove,orrove,themonitortotthepatient’sacuity
needs,ratherthanmovingthepatienttoamonitoredroom.Whenyoumovethe
monitortoanewlocationintheCARESCAPENetwork,youcanupdatetheunitand/or
bednamesfromdrop-downlists,oraddnewnamesmanually.Availableselections
dependonwhathasbeenallowedinconguration.
Thisfunctionalityisalsoavailableinthecombinationmonitoringmodeforroving
betweenbeds.Inotherwords,youcanmovethemonitororapatientwearinga
telemetrytransmitterfromonelocationtoanotherandupdatetheinformation
accordingly.
ThesesettingsareconguredthroughMonitorSetup>DefaultSetup>CareUnit
Settings>Rovingandtheyarepasswordprotected.
