WARNING
WhenconnectingPDMorTRAM,theloadedIPlabelsmay
affectthechannellabelingofotheralreadyconnected
channels,andconsequentlyalsothealarmlimits.
ConnectingaPDMorPSMtoaframe
1.Connectthemodulebyaligningitwiththeinsertionguidesofthedockingstation
ontheoutsideoftheframe.
2.Pushthemoduleintothedockingstationuntilitclicksandstops.
NOTE
ThePDMmodulerequiresadditionaltimetopowerupwhenused
withoutthePDMbattery.Donotinterruptthestartupsequence
byunpluggingthePDMmodule.
RemovingaPDMorPSMfromaframe
1.Pullthepulltaboutandslidethemoduleoutoftheguides.
2.Holdontothemoduletomakesureitdoesnotdropwhenitcomesout.
ConnectingotherE-modulesthanthePSMtoaframe
NOTE
AnE-modulecanoccupyanyslotintheframe,nospecic
orderisrequired.
1.Withthemoduleproperlyoriented(modulereleaselatchfacingdown),alignthe
insertionguideslotinthemodulewiththeinsertionguideintheframe.
2.Pushthemoduleintotheframeuntilitclicks.
