silencingaphysiologicalNIBPalarmwillclearthatactivealarmuntilthenextNIBP
measurementistaken.Ifthenewmeasurementisoutsidethealarmlimits,thealarm
isactivatedagain.

automateddevices.Itisbasedontheprinciplethatpulsatilebloodowthroughan
arterycreatesoscillationsofthearterialwall.
