pluggedintotheappropriatesideofthecable.TheV2through
V6leadwireblockiscolor-codedbrown(AHA)orwhite(IEC).
ECGmeasurementlimitations
●E-modulesusedforthismeasurementarenotsuitableforusewithneonatal
patients.
●ThemonitorwilldisplayaLeadsoffmessageinaninputoverloadcondition,or
upondisconnectionofelectrodeleadwires.
ECGpointstonote
●Pre-gelledECGelectrodesarerecommended.Checktheexpirationdate.
●Makesuretheelectrodegelismoist.
●Makesuretheelectrodeshavegoodskincontact.
●Replaceallelectrodesatleastevery24to48hours.
●UsetheMulti-Linkelectrosurgicalunit(ESU)ECGpatientcablewhenusingthe
monitorinthepresenceofanelectrosurgicalunit.Thiscable,withabuilt-inESU
lter,helpsreduceelectrosurgicalnoisedetectedontheECGsignal.

●DependingontheECGmoduleused,notallECGmeasurementsandsettingsare
availabletovieworchange.
