IfthefeaturehasbeenenabledintheCareUnitSettings(passwordprotected),you
canturnoffthemonitor’sdisplayandturnoffallaudible,visual,andalarmlightalarm
indicatorsuntilyouturnthembackonagain.Patientmonitoringisoccurring;however,
themonitorisnotdisplayingpatientdataorindicatingpatientalarmslocally.Local
printingisalsoinactive.Alarmsareloggedandtrended.Ifthemonitorisconnectedto
thenetwork,alarmsandalarmprintouts,andparameterdata(andnursecallsignals
withB850)willcontinuetobesentoverthenetworkduringsleepmode.Formore

1.SelectAlarmSetupfromthemonitor’smainmenu.
2.SelecttheAudible&Visualtab.
3.SelectAudio&Display>Off.
Ascreensaverreplacesthedisplayofpatientdata.Anyuserinput(touchscreen,
button,TrimKnob,keyboardkey,mouseclick)reactivatesthealarmsandthe
monitoringscreen.
Remotemanagementofalarms
TheremotealarmsettingsaredenedintheCareUnitSettingsandtheyare
passwordprotected.Thefollowingsettingsareavailable:
●Allowingremoteaudiopausefromthismonitorforaremotebed.
●Allowingaudiopauseforthismonitorfromacentralstationorremotemonitor.Not
availablewiththeORsoftwarepackage.
●Allowingremotepausingofdifferentalarmpriorities.
●Showingtheremotepatientname.
●Turningtheremotemonitor’salarmlightonoroff.
●Selectingtheremotealarmnoticationtone.
