Operation
Personal Answering Machine Emulation (AME)
To activate or cancel Personal Answering Machine Emulation:
1.
Select the Call Forwarding options.
[Prog + Cfwd + Sta]
[Prog + Cfwd + Sta]
Alternately do one of the following:
• Press
CALL1 and dial *2.
• Press your Call Forwarding Station Key.

Select the Call Forwarding type.
a.
[AME]
[Sta + AME]
Select Personal Answering Machine Emulation.
• Alternately dial
1.
b.
To cancel Call Forwarding, dial 0.
3.
Do one of the following.
a.
[All]
[All]
Select to forward all calls.
• Alternately dial
2.
b.
[CO]
[CO]
Select to forward outside calls only.
• Alternately dial
3.
c.
[Int]
[Int]
Select to forward Intercom calls only.
• Alternately dial
4.
When Personal Answering Machine Emulation broadcasts your caller’s voice:
1.
Do one of the following.
a.
Do nothing to have the caller’s message automatically recorded in your mailbox.
b.
Lift the handset to hear the caller’s message broadcast privately in your handset.
c.
Press SPK to send the call directly to your mailbox.
d.
(Optional) Lift the handset and press CALL1 to intercept the call.
• The portion of the call prior to you lifting the handset records in your mailbox.
