14. Turn "Auto Erase Memory Setting" on:
[User Tools]> "System Settings"> "Administrator Tools"> "Auto Erase Memory
Setting"> "On"
15. Exit User Tools.
16. Check the display and make sure that the overwrite erase icon is displayed in
the lower right area of the operation panel.
17. Make a Sample Copy.
18. Check the overwrite erase icon.
• The icon [A] changes to [B] when job data is
stored in the hard disk.
• The icon goes back to its usual shape [A]
after this function has completed the data
overwrite operation on the hard disk.
