6.17.5 PAPER EXIT MECHANISM
The exit motor [A] drives the paper exit roller [B] and transport rollers ,  ,
To feed the printed page from the fusing unit straight through and out of the
machine, the exit junction gate motor [C] stays off and the exit junction gate [D]
remains closed.
To feed the page to the inverter and duplex unit below, the motor turns on to open
the exit junction gate and guide the paper down.
