3.5.2 LENS BLOCK
WARNING
Turn off the main power switch and unplug the machine before performing
this procedure. Laser beams can seriously damage the eyes.
1. Exposure glass (3.5.1).
2. Lens cover [A] ( x 5).
3. Lens block [B] ( x 4, = x2, x 4).
• Hold the board to disconnect connectors , . (They are difficult to
disconnect if you do not hold the board.)
• Disconnect the connectors from the relay board , , then remove the lens
block.
4. After reassembly, do the scanner and printer copy adjustments. (3.15)
NOTE: There are no field adjustments for the lens block.
