Function description
The telescope has some additional features, like:
• In order to aim with high accuracy, an illuminated reticle (cross hair) is placed in the image
plane between the eyepiece and the erecting prism (Porro prism).
• A motorized focusing drive (Servo Focus) moves the focusing lens.
• Two selective mirrors are situated in the optical path to divert the optical signals to the distance
meter and the tracker receiver: Mirror 1 reflects the wavelength of 870 nm (DR300+) or 660
nm (High Precision) to and from the EDM. Mirror 2 reflects the wavelength of 785 nm towards
the Tracker receiver.
• A transmitter prism mounted behind the front lens diverts the laser pointer and tracker
transmitter signal.

Troubleshooting
There are no fixed parameters in the centre unit because the reticle and tracker receiver can be
replaced and adjusted separately. When replacing either reticle/tracker receiver these two must be
measured to determine which can be used as the reference. If both are out of alignment or broken the
mechanical centre must be used.
