1 Remove servo side
cover.
Lay the instrument on
the side with the servo
side cover up and
remove servo side cover.
2 Remove the IPC board.
3 Remove Telescope pre-
load unit.
4 Remove SRC board. Remove SRC board incl.
magnets together with
the vertical angle disc.
5 Remove MSB board. Remove MSB board
incl. motor winding.
6 Remove the four screw
holding the axle
Note – Do not loosen
or remove the four
screws that hold the
bearing as this will
affect the accuracy
of the instrument
(marked with red
cross in see Fig. 5-
48 on page 5-51 .
7 Remove the axle Mount the Puller
Vertical Axle tool and
pull out the axle by
rotating the knob
clockwise see Fig. 5-48
on page 5-51
Note – Do not move
the instrument when
the axle is removed.
