1 Remove Handle and
Cover
Remove the handle of the
instrument.
Remove the distance unit
cover, see page 5-3.
2 Remove board holder Pull up the holder, go to
item 2, see page 5-72.
3 Remove Receiver
board
Disconnect the ribbon
cable A, see Fig. 5-68 on
page 5-73 .
Place the Receiver board
in vertical position.
Lay down the instrument
on the servo side cover.
This avoids the drop
down of the screw
and leaf spring into
the center unit.
4 Remove reference
greywedge
A. Loose the screw and
remove the leaf spring.
B. Exchange the
Reference greywedge.
C. Position the black-
white crossing of the
Reference greywedge
as shown in Fig. 5-79
on page 5-82 and push
the axis downwards to
the bottom.
Screw driver Torx
T6, bended (15mm)
or with longer shaft is
recommended.
This makes easier to
find the correct
reference pulse.
